Reinforcing Failure

Colorado has pressing challenges that must be addressed not postponed with fancy rhetoric or embedded in false promises.  The two democratic candidates are quick to point out how they will solve the housing crisis, the education crisis and how they will fight the federal government.

The truth is the democratic party has been in power in Colorado for nearly a decade controlling all three branches of state government.  Democrats have had free reign to try and fix everything they are now asking our voters for another chance to fix.  They have had their chance and have failed and failed badly.   In many cases their policies have resulted in our problems today. Life has not improved in that decade and Colorado today is divided and unrecognizable to many of us.

Their policies have resulted in many of the challenges we now face from public safety to housing.  If their policies and ideas were effective they would have worked, they have not.  Instead, Colorado has seen an increase in sexual assault, car theft, violent crime and drug use, is in the top five states for homelessness, our roads are crumbling, and our state has become unaffordable to most working families.

Why should Colorado voters reinforce failure by voting for the same career politicians with the same bad ideas?

What is needed are new ideas, strong leadership, and input from everyone in Colorado, to include our counties and municipalities, not progressive ideas from California and Washington DC.  Jason Mikesell will provide clear vision, strong leadership and fresh grassroots ideas to get Colorado back on track to a brighter future for everyone.
